 —  —

The Petaluma Historical Museum, 20 Fourth Street, Petaluma, CA

"The MetaQuizzical Cafe" is a musical science and philosophy salon which debuts as a weekly series during the Smithsonian's exhibition of BEYOND:Visions of Planetary Landscapes at the Petaluma Museum May 6-July 4.

Each event centers on the concept behind one of singer-songwriter Jim Ocean's original songs and is a spicy blend of live music, speaker interview and audience Q&A.

Expect wide-ranging and inspiring conversation and edutainment.

Speaker: TBA
Song: "Super Earth"
Description: An exploration of "Super-Earths". What are they? What do they indicate about the likelihood of life on other planets? Are super-earths more stable on our planet? Might we be able to migrate to them some day? Should we?
